Before entering into the nutritional supplement industry, Jason worked for 5 years as a business consultant for Accenture. Trying to tie into his B.S. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University, Jason took the opportunity to open the original Healthnutz store with college friend Joe Godwin in 2003. Jason received his Sports Performance Nutrition Specialist from ISSA in early 2004, allowing him to further provide quality information on supplement regimens to Healthnutz customers.
In late 2004, Jason moved to open the second Healthnutz location in Mooresville, where he currently remains as its Store Manager. He enjoys hearing the success stories of Healthnutz customers who have relied on getting the proper information from the Healthnutz staff. “There are plenty of outlets to purchase nutritional supplements, so we feel very blessed that customers continue to frequent our locations for their nutritional needs. We have always felt that Healthnutz should not financially penalize someone for wanting to live a healthier life, and that commitment to lower prices and quality information has attributed to our continued success.
